HAZELIE Robinson has been an integral part of Avoca’s Blue Pyrenees Estate for over 45 years and has seen many changes within the business.
Hazelie is the vineyard’s “go to” person. She has an enormous wealth of knowledge in all facets of the business.
Hazelie has worked in the vineyard, production, laboratory and now in the office as the export and invoice administrator.
Her colleagues say nothing is ever a bother and Hazelie is always happy to lend a hand when needed.
“Her loyalty and commitment to the business doesn’t go unnoticed from the many late nights, to coming in on the weekends, delivery of packages and the list goes on,” the Blue Pyrenees Facebook page stated.
Hazelie has achieved so much in her time at Blue Pyrenees Estate and has helped mentor the younger staff members into their roles today, leaving a strong legacy for the next generation.
But all good things must come to an end and Hazelie decided to retire last month.
“You will be dearly missed, but we look forward to continuing to draw on your vast knowledge and experience from time-to-time, ensuring a smooth transition of what will inevitably be big shoes to fill,” her colleagues said on Facebook.
